Trying to Digg the article on Einstein's riddle that apparently only 2% of people can solve (although I think it's probably considerably more than that) but manbottle.com has a runtime error ): Damn now I can't find out if I'm a genius or not.
Anyway, yesterday was cool. Arena training in the morning was boring as usual, but then later on we went for lunch and had this Mdm Oehlers workshop thing which was fun :D Then the dinner! It was really nice lah, especially since the food was ummmm generally okay-quite good and the company was great! I guess it was really nice talking and hanging out and everything even though I was feeling mentally very exhausted and kind of hmmmmmm. Well, I'd probably describe it as
reticent haha or at least I was acting that way. Anyway, hope you guys liked the gifts! I loved all of mine! :D:D:D Really cool! One of the best Christmases ever since I stopped believing in Santa Claus. Or wait, not
Christmas but Christmas celebration. Thanks guys, it was REALLY FUN :D againagain!
Was really tired when we were going home though, although 73 didn't take too long to come and I was glad (: Walked back and then suddenly guess who I saw at my front gate? Ms Nicole Ong. HAHAHA. At first I didn't recognise who it was when Lily JJ said "Look who's here!" and I was like uhh okay is she supposed to look familiar so I greeted her with an "Eh." Then I went closer and recognised her lah but I was too tired to be excited or anything. Ms Ong wouldn't come in cos she was afraid of the doggies so we sat down there and chatted for around 20minutes because she was waiting for her guy friend who hasn't contacted her in years winkwink to fetch her to a hen party (although not
her hen party). It was a nice way to end off the evening, because I haven't seen her in what, a couple of months? She's coming back for CCA orientation though, and going to help Ms Sab teach a bit of floorball, so will probably see more of her in school next year.
All in all a Very Nice Day with a surreal but pleasant ending. HAHA reminds me of Notting Hill where Hugh Grant goes "Surreal. But pleasant."
I found the riddle! But it's probably not written by Einstein. Took around 15 minutes to solve.
Here it is:
There are no tricks, just pure logic, so good luck and don't give up.
1. In a street there are five houses, painted five different colours.
2. In each house lives a person of different nationality
3. These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.
THE QUESTION: WHO OWNS THE FISH?
HINTS
1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the centre house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbour who drinks water.
Happy solving :D I really want to watch this film "Venus"!!!!!! Seems a little bit ummm weird/incestuous but it's supposed to be a comedy and the trailer's really good. See how.
