Okay, have been busy procrastinating. I'll have to get down to work
sometime. Somehow I think I'll regret it if I subscribe to the notion that
I work better under pressure which translates to a ton of late work and catching up to do next year ): I promise I'll do something starting next week, but not tomorrow? Got orthopedic in the morning to have a look at my clicking ankle then training to injure my ankle all over again. It's probably calcified with lots of scar tissue etc.
Anyway, went out with Lishian yesterday to do Christmas shopping. Kino, then Golf House which didn't stock the damn Reygrande balls so went over to World of Golf where they SOLD OUT so altogether veryvery disappointing. Hello, I thought you couldn't be lousy at shopping. Not that it's
my fault the balls were sold out, but I only made a grand total of TWOOOO purchases which is really pathetic considering we walked around for so long. And instead of heel spurs that Cheronne predicted, I got ummm, these instep spurs, if such things exist. Wore slippers mah. Ate a snack then went to the Esplanade where we sat on a piece of art and talked then went up to the rooftop terrace and yakked some more. Haven't seen her for 7 weeks what, haha hello Lishian if you're reading this. Anyway, damn all you people who are overseas now! Especially Yina. Look man, I want to backpack in Europe too on a motorcycle with nothing but the clothes on my back but guess what? I'm too poor here to go and be poor halfway around the world. My chance at being an Intrepid Traveller will come one day and I will have a TV show and everything. So, to the untold millions of readers who read this thing: GET MY AUTOGRAPH QUICK. And you people there in Japan? It may be really nice and high-tech/serene and hilly (if you're in a Cottage-on-a-Hill) but at the end of the day, the fact remains that you eat sushi there. You're contributing to the eventual extinction of fish by 2050 and we'll have NO MORE SUSHI OR SEAFOOD TO EAT. And when that time comes, at least I won't have blood on my hands :D
Went out today after church because Mama wanted to get me a piece of jewellery or something, but you know I don't wear rings or earrings (because I can't) and no bling. NO BLING. Got a really good-looking Mother-of-Pearl crucifix on a silver chain from Tanglin Mall. I like it a lot, and it's a religious kind of article so I feel holier wearing it HAHA.
Remind me to forget it.
Subway on Tuesday!
See
You
There.
- freely.
