Hope the outage at 4.oo pdt isn't now! Haha, I wonder if Mrs S**h is secretly checking out our blogs. If you are, Mrs S**h, then I think you're an arse. Sue me :D.

Okay, I don't agree with whoever wrote that rant about the teachers shaving, but I don't agree with what the teachers did either. I mean, all in all, I think each teacher had a different, hmmm... agenda(if you can term it that) for shaving their heads. Yeah, I agree that everyone has their own way of doing community service, and if it is in their best judgement that head shaving constitutes that, then fair play to them. I'm not saying that they're doing it for pure publicity (for the kids or themselves, I'm not in any position to make comments), but I think if you participate in this kind of movement, it's definitely got to be supplemented by other actions. Or rather, this should be supplementary to other volunteer work and such. I'm not cynical about Mr Chia doing it, because I'm fairly certain he's done a lot more community service within and outside of Singapore that demonstrates his sincerity, and to me, he's really a nice guy (I suppose this is relative, but most people will agree with me.) However, Mrs S**h tends to come across as judgemental and derisive, and I was hardly impressed by her little "speech" on stage, which wasn't RELEVANT to the CAUSE, but rather, her magnanimous sacrifice which would almost certainly result in her achieving a "freak-like" appearance. I'm really trying not to be biased here. I bet she googled the shaving thing to find the blog entry and whipped it off without permission. wtf@copyright eh Mrs Seah ;D! Whoever the blogger was, I thought the entry was too emotionally charged. I know I'm guilty of that (sometimes), but if you're trying to diss someone, you should make sure that they can't dismiss your opinion as senseless emotional rambling. Rambling=no credibility. 'Nuff said.
