"Bird Flu Dance Hits Nightclubs"
A "bird flu" dance inspired by the spasms of a dying chicken has recently surfaced in nightclubs in Abidjan, less than two weeks after the disease was discovered in the West African country of the Ivory Coast. The dance took off at a large bar in the area of Marcory, where the H5N1 virus has been identified. A video broadcast showed dancers swinging their arms behind them to imitate the flapping of wings.

Yeah well, just goes to show - even dying fowl can be a source of inspiration to the desperate youth of Abidjan, who have nothing to do all day except listen to Magic System.
Fowl[pun-intended] dancing aside, today a lot of things were supposed to happen but didn't. There was a problem with the mic so we couldn't make the appeal for item donations, so in the end it was postponed to Monday. And also I can talk about WHY the stupid announcement on the presale was made, but I won't because it doesn't reflect well on NY. I mean these finger-pointing ******** don't even deserve mention. Then Adele was SUPPOSED to go for taekwondo but didn't, presumably went to do other things (because I know for a fact she wasn't down for any council duties!). Then after school we were SUPPOSED to have an RMUN "meeting" but due to various circumstances beyond our control (me chionging chem homework and Amandas sorting out some Mothers' Day stuff) we only left the sch at 3.30?? And then we sat there in TNH INTENDING to do some discussion, but the conversation somehow deviated to other things. Then Adele and Lishian went to HCI, Yina went to some nyp thing and Amandas went back with me to school so I could finish the Provisional Govt essay that I was SUPPOSED to do, but didn't. Finished at around 5! Then I went to humanities dept where Ms Ong happened to be! And I handed in to her! So happy. I also handed in the chem worksheets to Mr Nah so he could go to his John Little sale. Aren't we all happy :D? Hm, then I decided to take 157 to Toa Payoh hoping to meet Ms Koh and Dina too but then missed them.. Nevermind, cos I met Lily JJ and got to buy the Adidas pants and the tshirt for Calcutta (how come everytime we buy stuff from there, Calcutta is always the excuse? Haha.) WAS A STEAL. $15! :D:D So I GUESS today wasn't a bad day, because it was quite fun :)
