Hrrrmm, I think blogging is kind of like running - once you blog regularly for 3 weeks or so, you'll feel odd not blogging. I remember sometime in p6 when I went running everyday, and I liked it, and I didn't dread going for runs, but now since I run only about 3 times a week and don't run THAT much except on Saturdays, I'm not really enthusiastic anymore to say the least.
Okay, when I went for tuition on Friday, I was walking up Chartwell when I saw a Man-With-Suspicious-Looking-Arm-Sling sitting by the side of the road. Then, as I approached, said MWSLAS started walking towards me saying "Excuse me, excuse me..." and I didn't stop walking and said "Yeah?" in my most curt voice and he just kept saying "Excuse me". And when he saw I didn't stop, he pretended to feel faint. HAHA. WELL SONNY, I DON'T BELIEVE YOU! So I left MWSLAS behind. EAT MY DUST. Ordinarily, if someone were REALLY injured, of course I'd stop to help, but he obviously wasn't very handicapped by his sling, and what the hell does your head have to do with your arm?? If he was really injured, well I apologise for being so cruel, but I just don't think he was. Stop and risk getting assaulted/robbed/RAPED? You've got to be kidding me.
Just in case I forget.
Anyway! I think we have a really cool idea for IH-cum-LA SIA! It's a big Art Attack!! So exciting! Mmmm. I think we're going to do a bigbig Racial Harmony thing on the quadrangle using ketupats and Indian flower garlands and Chinese stuff! I think it's the coolest idea (((: And, EVERYONE will get to see it! I'm such a publicity whore :X Although, I think it's more meaningful if a lot of people get to see it, cos then it will actually promote harmony. You know what I mean? And tomorrow we've got History<3 and have to hand in our mindmaps for the SIA, and although I'm seriously contemplating doing Racism/Marxism, I really want to do something a lot more interesting. I think those are reallyreally interesting too, esp Marxism and the whole idea of communism is actually a good idea. Okay, you can shoot me later, but honestly, it's a good idea; it just never worked out because of human nature. I mean, it's the continuous struggle for a utopian society, and somehow, even though theoretically it's great and everything, people aren't naturally giving and don't naturally work for the benefit of everyone around. It's all about me me me. Reminds me of Ms Chang's "Me, I, MY." And you'll have everything you ever need, and people will more or less be content, but then there's also the issue of corruption. You see, these people use the idea of communism to gain control of the government then they basically just do whatever they like. Not very nice huh. Well, we can talk about that later.
Is it just me, or do some GEPers have a superiority complex? I'm not making a sweeping statement here if you notice the word "some". It's just that sometimes they can be kind of irritating with their bombastic notions. Yeah, a lot of them are really nice people, interesting and able to voice their opinions better than a lot of mainstreamers, but they're educated in a manner that makes them think that they're God's gift to the education system; and for all their talk about being "mature", they can be outright rude sometimes. Yes, there are some mainstreamers who behave like that too. I'm just saying, that's all. No need to get defensive now(:
