If I were a food product, I wouldn't be mass appeal at all. I'd cater to the niche market, be something like SAFFLOWER MAYONNAISE or a sour plum isotonic drink (hinthint!). I know some people are Chocolate or French Fries or Panda Biscuits with Chocolate Filling (I like ((((:)! I can name people who are mass appeal, like Adele or Rachel, and sometimes you have the occasional left-of-centre product which you wouldn't expect to be popular because it's different, BUT IT IS! But underneath it's designed to have mass appeal by not appearing to be appealing and it markets itself. hahahaha. Actually, we market ourselves everyday! Woohooo buymebuymebuyme. What's the deal anyway. It's not neccessarily bad to have mass appeal, but you kind of lose the niche market, even if you're yummy and delicious and contain High Fructose Corn Syrup.
