Yesterday wasn't bad! Except for the skipping ropes and Ms NICOLE Ong's perpetually bad temperament, we had a fun training and after that went to play squash with Adele and Chen Xi! I can kind of play now! (: Then later on went to Roger and Germaine's wedding (grandmother's sister's grandson's wedding. technically I'm related to Roger, but I don't know anyone there except great-aunties) at Shangri-La where there was a free Bonne Maman HONEY door-gift, better than the fruitcakes that they usually give, because I HATE FRUITCAKE. The 'fruit' is gummy and it's too sweet andand they don't put brandy in it, because I'd eat the cake (sans fruit) if there was brandy! <3 brandy. Drank 2 glasses of dawson's creek, which actually was okay, because I didn't feel any blood rushing to my face, although there was this one guy at another table who looked like shao1 zhu1. Food was like usual wedding stuff - THE ubiquitous (word of the day! I like this word(:) cold dish, with the red octopus which tasted really nice, but then was a bit grossed out just looking at it because it's a BABY. Maybe I shouldn't eat that in future, you know, Ethical Treatment of Animals. What the hell. So I've got double standards, ok? Didn't eat the shark's fin (cruel plus high in mercury) but managed to eat all the other things, and if you think about it, it's actually not right to eat anything nowadays, if you're going to worry about the moral implications -.- HOWEVER, I still maintain that there are marginally more humane ways of ummm slaughter, if you ignore the ironysilverypotassiumy. We should all eat dolphin-friendly tuna! Then there was the fish and stuff like the obligatory mushroom abalone thing in XO sauce, and honestly, you don't get a kick out of eating abalone at all - they just serve it because it's expensive. finally blahblahblah eleven o'clock, we went home.
